Stephanie Boozer is a writer, editor, content manager and strategist (read: cat herder) based in Charleston, South Carolina. After getting a degree in journalism, Stephanie actually began her career in the technology sector, working in IT support first at a British Telecom satellite office in Atlanta and then as a WAN support technician at Hewlett Packard. But writing was always her first calling, and she left tech to write, and later edit, for Peachtree Magazine. When the magazine folded a few years later, Stephanie continued as a freelance writer and editor, writing frequently for photography publications like Professional Photographer and Click magazine. She also took on ghost writing and book editing projects, and expanded into marketing materials and advertising copy.
Most recently, Stephanie brought her past IT sector experience back into play, managing online content and social media for a large, global technology user group. In that role, she oversees blog content, hosts and manages webinars, runs a women in technology mentoring program and handles all social media strategy. She continues to take on diverse writing and editing projects that span across interests and industries.

And yes, those are Band-aids on my toes, pictured above happily sunk in Central Park clover after days of city trekking.
